You are invited to view our plans for a new bespoke hotel at East Pilgrim Street, comprising of the conversion of the Grade-II listed former Fire Station building. The luxe hotel will also feature a pavement restaurant/café and bar area.

The former Fire Station is located within one of Newcastle’s most strategically important City Centre regeneration areas; offering an exciting opportunity to repurpose and bring this vacant listed building back into use. The conversion of the Former Fire Station builds upon the regeneration of the Pilgrim Street area, catalysed by the recent permission for Bank House at the former Bank of England site and the current planning application for the Pilgrim Place development.

Taras Properties are inviting local businesses and residents to view plans for the new hotel and provide valued feedback, with public consultation live until the 1st of November. A planning application for the project will subsequently be submitted to the Council mid-November, with your valued feedback taken onboard in the scheme’s final design.
